FireArm and Safety Threat CLASSifier

FASTClass, FireArm and Safety Threat Classifier, is a radio frequency system with a standoff detection capability to identify persons ("targets") carrying hidden weapons before they reach their objective. The system does this by automatically discriminating between a range of weapons of interest and other non-threatening items. 

The system combines previous work done for submarine damage control with current work underway for public school security.
